A Little About
Ron Green
Professional Bassist
My first real gig was playing in a nightclub at the age of 16, in Waco, Texas. I got bit by the bug and as soon as I graduated high school, I packed my bags and off to sunny California I went. I took a couple years of music in college to learn the craft and from that day to this, I’ve never looked back. Today, I’m considered a “senior” as far as age goes, and I still love the instrument and the music it makes.
Education
Went to college and studied music for two years in Los Angeles, California.
Experience
Got my first paying gig at 16. Played with local groups and traveled abroad.
Enjoyment
Music has been my world for most of my life. It brings me joy just seeing people smile.
Employment
After retiring from corporate my time was freed up and I'm available to gig. Let's connect.
Music Styles
My Favorite Styles to Play
In college, I gained an appreciation for different styles of music. I do enjoy most genres of music, however, I also prefer certain styles over others. Whether it’s giggin’ at the club or playing for an extravagant wedding, putting out good music is what I enjoy most.
